Hello all, hope everyone is doing well. Here is the latest news about some of our idols.
Belated birthday wishes go to Chris Richardson who turned 23 on February 19th. Our Chris is a very talented guy as he not only sings but also writes songs and plays the piano, drums and guitar. Since his idol tour days he has written songs for Jordin Sparks, Phil Stacey and Gina Glocksen. Also he co-wrote the songs "What'cha Got To Lose" and "Human" which appear on Blake Lewis's debut cd. He has been approached to appear on several television shows with one being the very successful "House". He might do that later he claims as currently he is busy working on his own debut album with producer Ivan Coralliza. Much success Chris!
Season 2 alumni Kimberley Caldwell also celebrated her 26th birthday on February 25th. Currently she is a co-host alongside of Season 1's Justin Guarini on the show "Idol Tonight" which airs on the TV Guide channel. Since her idol days she has made several appearances on television and also in magazines. Being a correspondent on the Red Carpet segments of the Academy Awards, the Grammies, People's Choice Awards, the Emmys and the Golden Globes have Kim being one busy lady. She also sang the national anthem at the Nascar Coca Cola 600 race. She has mentioned how fortunate she has been since appearing as a contestant on American Idol and is extremely grateful for all the opportunities that have come her way. Way to go Kim!
Speaking of Justin Guarini he was in a racing movie called "Fast Girl" which is now available on DVD. His co-star Caroline Rhea had the lead role in television on the show Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. Also would like to mention to visit Justin's own website for information on songs he has written and recorded since his idol days.
